X40 Battery Life on 4-cell

I only get about 2.5 - 2.8 hours on the internal 4-cell. Most reviews were quoting 3.5 hours, is there a problem with my battery or is this normal?

I have my power settings set very agressive and never see a full 3 hours.

It's normal. My 8-cell theoretically gets 7 hours, but even on my nicest power settings, I get just under 5.

Turning off the wireless antenna and turning down the screen brightness can stretch out power usage to about 7 plus hours on a new battery.
