Someone at notebookreview stumbled upon Lenovo's planned future offerings for the Z series:

U of Tennessee and UNC Greensboro let the news slip: the date is May 16th for those of you who are interested.

And I was all set to buy a T60 soon! Now I'm inclined to wait for the Z61.

WOW! Maybe I'm glad that I'm still waiting for my custom-built z60m to arrive after 1.5 months (I returned my first purchase because of dead pixels, but it only took 20 day sto ship). I'm now itching to just wait and spend more then the duo core comes out. Of course, who knows how much longer the z61m will take to ship!
