2046 MB not 2048 MB

2046 MB not 2048 MB

Hello!

I've put an additional 1 GB to my T60p, but it reads in total 2046 MB not 2048 MB. Is there some problem with my machine or why is it only 20 46 MB and not 2048 MB?

I suspect what you are refering to reported "available" or something like that. Something similar happens when you get a report of hard disk space. Lets say you have a 20GB hard disk. Your report will not tell you that you have 20GB available. It will be less than that as your system must have space for a file allocation table or similar table so your OS system "knows" where you files and programs are located.

its normal. ive had sticks come up as 511mb and stuff like that too.
