SOLD! Hitachi 7k100 hard drive, 60GB

#1 Post by andrey » Sun Apr 02, 2006 12:10 am

I have practically brand new Hitachi Travelstar 60GB 7200rpm 7K100 for sale. This is an IBM part so it is fully compatible with a T4x series w/o 2010 error.

FRU part: 13N6897

I'm asking $100 shipped. Please PM or e-mail me.

Guys, I did research on this, and $100 is a fair price, don't be ridiculous. I just have to make sure it makes sense for me to buy it right now before I let Andrey know. If someone else wants this, $100 is very reasonable!

Its not matter of being ridiculous. The drive in question is "practically brand new" (that is it is not brand new) so that has a definite impact of the perceived value from many here.

YMMV

Cheers,

Bill

the drive in qurestion is advertised as an IBM part..
that increases the value REGARDLESS if it is slightly used..
if i did not already have more than a few 60gig drives i would buy it.. :)

and, FWIW, i don't think this forum is a place for picking apart someone who is offering a part for sale..

either make an offer or not and don't editorialoize on whether the drive is a good deal or not..

its just not fair and i don't like it..

Yes. In fact, even an old 600E should be able to run the drive.
