hi,
i just wonder who knows to dismantle Thinkpad LCD screen?
is there any procedure out there to dismantle it?

Which MODEL Thinkpad do you want to do this to? And why?

T40, my brother's thinkpad.
just bought an SVGA+ LCD, would like to replace it myself since there is no more warranty left on T40 and there is irritating dead pixel on screen.

also.. the ibm Hardware Maintenence Manual has every step you need to take apart the lcd.. (you'll hafta take apart about half of the machine.) Go slow, think before you pry.
