Docking a T42

Hi, I am looking for a docking system for my T42.

I have noticed that there is a "Thinkpad Mini Dock" (287810U) and a "Thinkpad Port Replicator II" (74P6733). The only difference that I can see is that the Mini Dock includes a power adapter and has 4 USB ports instead of only 1 on the Port Replicator II. Do you know of any other differences?

Also, if I was to go with the Port Replicator II, I assume I still can use my the 2 USB ports on the T42 even while I am docked (for a total of 3 USB ports). Is that a correct assumption?
