High Rate Wireless Lan Mini PCI Adaptor III&WPA-WSK

I have 8 G-40's with High Rate Wireless Lan Mini PCI adaptor III and have used IBM software installer and also searched the web to find a driver/utility that would let these machines use something other than WEP. Does anyone know if this is possible without buying new hardware?
