Replacing the lid cover of T40

I'm going to replace my lid cover of my T40, but I was wondering if I need some stickers of IBM to put the display back together? Like double sided take and stuff. Does anywbody know?

If you buy the cover from IBM/Lenovo it will come with all the stickers/dots/screw_covers etc that you will need to replace the item. Make sure to look at the HMM and order the correct cover for your TP!

Not true, I ordered the lid, and some stickers are on, some are not. Plus the brezel thingy doesn't have the function stikker on it (you know like to the right low corner).

What is the model/type of you TP, and the FRU that you ordered for the lid cover?

I have never ordered the lid, so maybe the one that gets sent for warranty replacement is different!

I still can't figure out the "bezel thingy" sticker.....

Yes, indeed. The llittle thingy on to of the lid.

Here is the pic where you can see, the black sticker is missing, so it's transparant.
