T42 + Targus Fingerprint Reader-CSS Doesn't recognize reader

Can anyone help me with this? I've been working one it for 3 days now and I'm at the end of my rope...When I go into the Fingeroprint control center it gives me the error "0xe7210005 Cannot find fingerprint sensor device" I've updated eveything I can think of including the BIOS but still the same error - Any help would be greatly apperciated!

Are you using the integrated fingerprint device or a USB device?

What version of CSS ?

Its a Targus USB fingerprinter sensor (PA460) and the CSS version is 6

Maybe CSS only works with built in fingerprint readers.

The targus fingerprint reader should have come with its own software, no?

it did but it sucks it an old version of omnipass. There is a driver on the Targus website for the IBM CSS but I can't seem to get it to recognize the reader....
