X31 Motherboards, Processors Compatibility?

#1 Post by Aristotle11 » Fri Apr 07, 2006 11:41 am

Hi,

Do all X31s come with the same motherboard or chipset? Which Pentium M processors are compatible with it?

I was thinking of upgrading the processor (or motherboard and processor) from a banias to a dothan, and just wanted to make sure of what I could do.

Best,
Aris

What he means is that the CPU is soldered into the motherboard, hence is not user replaceable.
