Quick question:
Is the only difference between these two models that the CWU has the extra 802.11 a connection? Is that good for anything or is it okay to go with b/g only and have the centrino certification with the CXU?
Thanks!

Yup - but I was swayed to the CWU by the fact that quite a number of people here consider the IBM a/b/g card significantly better than the INTEL 2200 b/g - in addition I resent paying for the Centrino label just because it's INTEL.
PS. CWU or CXU - bloody great laptop! Make sure you buy from Bill...
