Question regarding the english version of energy manager

Hi,

I have a question regarding the english version of the T60 energy manager. How are the the options for the fan control called?
It would be nice if someone can tell me or post a screenshot.

There should be 2 options. In the german version they are called:

Maximale Leistung and
Alle Parameter anpassen.


We have some trouble here because the first option(maximale Leistung) is quiter than the second one but it should be the opposite.
So maybe we have a mistake in translation.

They don't make much more sense in English. The options are:

Maximize Performance
Balance all Parameters

I found that the second one seems to use a little less power but in my first test I swore that Max Pref used less power. I think I've decided that changing the value has a positive effect, regardless of what it is changed to.

Strange.
On my T60 I think with the first option the fan is much quiter than with the second one. The fan is also often off.

Maybe we should ask Lenovo what these settings are for.
