I was able to make the HPA visible via the BIOS settings. However now I am not able to format it all using the default MS Disk Management software.
I remember doing this aeons ago (and it worked fine) however now Disk Management does not give me any option to do anything with the IBM_SERVICE partition.
Any ideas/suggestions? Going to give Partition Magic a try.
edit: Was able to format the drive with Partition Magic. Dont know why Disk Management was not working though.
