T40 with port replicator and DVI problem

Hi

I want to use my thinkpad with IBM P260 CRT Monitor with analog and DVI input. (http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... IGR-4EJTHQ)
I was able to set up analog output to the monitor but the images
and text displayed via analog output is blurry. So I decided to use
DVI output on my Thinkpad Port Replicator II. I am using to DVI-D cable
but I`m unable to get anything displayed on the CRT monitor. Did you have any issues with DVI output on T40 ? Are there any gotchas I should be aware of ?

Mine works great - is your monitor looking for the signal on the DVI input, or do you have to manually change it over from VGA?
