A30p mini pci card ultra miniature coax connector???

Just bought a mini pci wireless Atheros card for my A30p, and it works very well, but the range seems like it could be better from what I've heard about this card. In the A30p, there is no ultra miniature coaxial cable to connect to this card, yet that is what the antenna connector calls for on the card.

Has anyone any knowledge of this type of connector on this Thinkpad? Maybe one of the existing connectors in the Thinkpad is for the antenna and there is an adapter available?

Any help is apppreciated.

Sounds like your A30p doesn't have the internal WiFi antennae installed, very few of them did.

What's the model number?

Yep, download the HMM for the A30p and have at it. I did it on my A30p,

Any idea where I can get the best one? I see that some install under the keyboard and some behind the lcd panel...which is better?
