Disk Cleanup Problem

Everytime I run Disk Cleanup I see 500+ megs of files under Compress Old Files. Even after I do the cleaning, I still see the same amount. Is there a fix for this?

It is likely the Temporary Internet files. Internet Explorer defaults to a huge amount of space for temp files (1.2Gb or some such). I change it to 80Mb and then I use Cache Sentry (it can be free - I use the paid version) and futher restrict the temp files to 20Mb. Cache Sentry keeps it to 20Mb and I have no problems. I have be doing this for years now.
