Keyboard symbols and function

#1 Post by davidjjohn » Fri Apr 14, 2006 5:06 pm

Where do I find out what all the keys do - on some keys there are three symbols - such as ( & 7 7 ) in descending order(top to bottom)
how do I access the lower "7" and like the division sign, how do I access that.
Any help please
Thanks

The keys with those numbers and symbols on them and on the right side of the keyboard is the numpad and can be accessed by activating Numlock; the key combo to do this is Shift+ScrLk(NumLk in small right above it on the same key).

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.

Thank Christopher
That does work - but not for all the keys - the division sign or the small numerals don't display with number lock on ? but I can get access to other symbols via word, so it isn't that important.
thanks anyway
