Spiffy World Clock Background...

#1 Post by Red_October_7000 » Sat Apr 15, 2006 2:12 am

I've seen a spiffy World Clock background on some Thinkpads up for sale on eBay... (I wanted an A31p... until I saw the price they go for...) My question is this: just what is the nature of this background and can it be made to work on my existing Thinkpad(s) (I'm not expecting it to work on the 730TE) or for that matter any other computer?

Found it. It was on the Russian web site. I didn't think it would simply be a background file (HTML) but rather thought it was an app of some sort. Thanks.

yea, the only draw back is that it doesnt display Central Standard Time in the North America Map or for any of the maps for that matter.

Maybe i can try and hack the HTML.

That and I'd want the day/night delimiter, but THAT would be an undertaking...
