Battery Return

#1 Post by jsmit86 » Thu Jul 29, 2004 9:27 pm

I contacted IBM recently for a replacement battery and keyboard.

They sent the keyboard OK, but I received a ultrabay slim battery instead of the 6 cell Sony.

I called them, and they told me to return the slim battery with the call taq provided. Ok so far..... but today my new 6 cell arrived, and there is no return paperwork provided!

Do you think they want the old one back?

Sometimes they will send the return slip and documentation within a few days.

So ... I probably should just wait until I get the return slip, and then send the original battery back.

I would call them and tell them. Let them send it to you. Worst comes to worst they'll tell you it's on the way (the return slip), and you've wasted 5 minutes. If it isn't, and you wait, you'll be in a lot of trouble (those things are exepensive)
