2007 models compared to 2623?

Does the difference mean anythting? Does the 2008 model have anything different?

The differences can be (and are) subtle. For instance, in the educational pricing machines at least, the 2007 ones need to be sent off to ezserve for repair, and the 2008 include the cost of a tech support guy running over to your site to fix things.

These sorts of details you have to look close to see on the tabook or web site.

i don't get it, if i bought a 3 year on site extended service contract with my 2007-83U, i get the guy running to my house to fix things right?

LOL, nope, you get no guy running to your house unless you're gay :lol:

Well, all joke asside only systems with "EasyServ" ON TOP of the standard 3 year warranty get that!!! EasyServ is meant for Educational machines as pundit has already explained.

wait, i currently get that with my T41p. i've had 3 service calls to my house in 2 years and they've swapped various parts of the laptop out for new replacements.

you're saying with the extended service plan (ON SITE) i don't get that? what is on site then?
