R40 wireless connection help

Can anyone confirm whether I can connect to a wireless router from my R40 2684 HVG.

The instruction book does not make it clear whether I need to add anything to the laptop.

Here are the specs for your system:

Original description: Celeron 2GHz, 128MB RAM, 30GB 4200rpm HDD, 14.1 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD, 16MB ATI Radeon, DVD, Modem(CDC), Ethernet(LOM), UltraNav, Li-Ion battery, WinXP Home

According to it, your system did not come with internal wireless. You will have to add wireless via a PCMCIA or USB wireless connection. If you feel really lucky, you could install your own internal wireless, but it will require opening the system and installing the wireless antennas.
