keyboard replaced now no sound ?

like subject says i replaced my keyboard to my 600x because of the 8611 code trackpiont problem. and now i have no sound from the speakers but i have sound with headphones. what can cuase this issue.?

Welcome to the forum!

I would double check to make sure that both cables were firmly connected underneath the keyboard. The one cable is strickly for the speakers, so if it isn't plugged in right, you would lose sound from the speakers. The headphones work independant of the keyboard, as the headphone jack connector is connected to the system board by other means.

thanks for the quick response. well i rechecked it and got sound. now my issue is only the right side speaker works. are both supose to work. i also tried swapping out the spekers from my keyboard and got te same problem. only one speaker works. when facinf the laptop the right side has sound not the left side. i checked all volume properties.
