ultrabay 2nd HDD

Hello Everyone ...
I bought 2nd HDD Hitachi 80 GB 7200 RPM (from IBM) and ultrabay adaptor. for security I setup HDD password for both HDD from BIOS.

MY problem is if I add utlrabay HDD to my thinkpad (when system is running) it will show HDD in Easy Eject but I can't access HDD from Explorer or even in Disk manager. I've to completly shut down the system and reboot and supply both passwords then only I can access HDD.

I tried Exact same Password for boot, primary HDD and ultra bay HDD but still same problem.

I removed password from ultra bay HDD and then I was able to add it while system is running. but after setting password can't use it.

Can anyone help me .... is there a setting i need to work with ???

No. The HD password for the ultrabay drive is working as intended. Somewhat inconvenient, but that's life.
