Depot service question

I am still having problems with my LCD cutting in and out, so I am about to take the plunge, and send my T42 out for out of warranty depot service.

>> Do you send the unit in with the HDD in place? I am concerned about possible data loss.

You don't need to send the HDD with the machine, unless the HDD is the problem.

I've sent my T40 in way too many times, and in almost every case I took the drive out.
