Help with IBM Password manager

Hello everyone, I am new to these forums. I own a thinkpad T42, and my hard drive just crashed I will be sending it for service, and they will try to recover the data (I cannot afford an especialized data recovery company). I used the ibm password manager, I was wondering if someone could tell me where is the default location of the file that contains the entries information (user id and password) for each site. There are some sites for which the only way I have to get in is the password I had stored within that program (I know, I should've had it somewhere else )

P. S. I am using the password manager that comes with the fingerprint reader (I bought mine separetely)

Hello and Welcome to the Thinkpad Forums

In most cases, it will ask you to save the entries to a file on the HDD; there should be an "Export" option that exports it as an executable. Slightly strange yes, but I have been able to back it up in that manner.

Not so sure about how it does that by default, but it does go to your "My Documents" folder when you go to save the entries.

Thanks, that helped! I forgot where I downloaded the password manager from... and I can't find it... I thought it had come with the fingerprint reader CD; if anyone knows where to dl it please let me know
