Please Help Me Reinstall my HP 4-in-1 !!!

I used to have a Lexmark Printer .... first mistake. I thought I deinstalled it all. I installed my HP 4-in-1 successfully and should have let things be. However, I got cute and thought I would go searching for any leftovers from Lexmark....must have messed up their "LexBce Server". Then my HP didn't work. I deinstalled it and tried to reinstall it. I can't do it as I keep getting the error message that I have Printer Spooler Problems. I tried to start that, but I can't because it relies on the stupied LexBce Server that I messed up. Is there a way to get this LexBce Server off my machine and have my Printer Spooler not rely on it and reinstall my HP successfully? Any help would greatly be appreciated! Susan

Just an update. I was able to go into regedit and get rid of the printer spooler needing LexBce Server as a prerequisite. However, I am still unable to start the printer spooler. I am now getting the error message 1077 - no attempts to start the services have been made since last boot. What the heck does that mean? Any help out there .

Susan, if you are running XP i'd do a system restore back before you uninstalled the printer. If you still have the software for the Lexmark install again and start over.
