Not that I know of, i think its integrated on the motherboard.

The last game i played with it was C&C Generals @ 800x600 and it played pretty decent.

Can someone tell me why a T30 can go for $560, but T42s are almost $1200? I dont really understand the difference. :oops:

I guess I am seeing T42s also for $900, if you happen to get a good deal, and T40s for $700. I guess its just a matter of getting the right specs and a reliable seller.

Answered your own Question.

For used laptops or even new ones, you got to read the fine print.

Some T30s can be had for $399 for a decent one but they often only include 256 megs ram, slow 4200 40 gig, no wifi and only a dvd-rom. and most have 3 year old batteries that can only hold half the rated capacity at that point.

I have also seen some T40's for 700 but again it's the same deal with features and specs.

The difference lies in the specs.

T30 = Pentium 4-m

Centrino:
T40 = Banis Core (sp?)
T4x = Dothan Core (I think)

Technically a T23 /w a P3-m (Tutilun) Core could also be considered a Centrino class Core based on Core Designation Numbering. I think it goes 11, 13, 14 and so on.

Didn't mean to bump my own thread.
