T42p DVD-R issues

Windows Explorer can see the CD drive and when I load DVD and data disks it can read them fine.

When I use IBM RecordNow to record a DVD-RW it burns fine. When I use Windows Explorer to open and try to read the disk it hangs.

Using Nero, Nero doesn't even recognize the drive at all.

Anybody else having such issues?

u using latest nero? nero works fine for me
