Fn F5 with Generic Intel 9.0.4.0 drivers

#1 Post by borez » Sat Apr 29, 2006 9:01 am

Hi there all,

I am currently using my T43 with the generic Intel 9.0.4.0 drivers from intel.com. Everything works (including the Fn F5 keys), until I reformatted my laptop and reinstalled XP Pro.

Now, when I attempt to use the Fn F5 keys, it prompts that "Unable to change state of Wireless Radio."

I tried to search for an answer, but it seems that the solutions were outdated. Would appreciate it someone could help me out here.

Thanks a million.

Make sure you have the Intel PROSet installed. Check in Software Installer or Windows Add or Remove Programs. Also make sure the environment variables include the following for the path.

C:\Program Files\Intel\Wireless\Bin\
DKB

Hi there, thanks for the reply.

I installed the IBM specific drivers, and all is well. Am trying out Access Connections for the first time too. :)
