I have tried USB cooling fan for guite some time now, and it makes my T43p cooler - even without turning the USB-fans on (because the space underneath the lap top makes cirkulation of air better ?)
For some more details..

If the fan isn't on, then you get a very small increase in passive cooling from the space as the T43, nor any of the T4X Series systems, have any huge vents on the bottom of the chassis.frogla wrote:I have tried USB cooling fan for guite some time now, and it makes my T43p cooler - even without turning the USB-fans on (because the space underneath the lap top makes cirkulation of air better ?)

If it works for you, plug it in and enjoy.

I continue to be a fan of the Targus Traveler CoolPad ... depending on where you buy it, $12 or so, works great, produces the passive cooling space, and best of all, takes very little room in one's computer bag. (The link takes you to an Amazon associate link ... I have pics there of my T43 on one.)
All the bigger, more expensive ones with USB bells and whistles are just hot air imho.
