New headphones (pictures attached)

#1 Post by ThinkPad » Sun Apr 30, 2006 6:36 pm

After doing my research, I decided to go for the Bose QuietComfort 2 Noise Canceling headphones, I have never used a noise canceling device, but I do a lot of travel, so I wanted to try it out.

I purchased these used, because I did not feel like paying the $300+ retail on a new price. Got it for about 1/3rd the price and I must say these are probably the best headphones I’ve ever used. Music has never sounded better. Even without audio input, the noise canceling device is amazing
I am currently listening to the theme from 'Zorba the Greek' and for those who do not know, it’s an instrumental piece. These headphones really bring the strumming to life. I will probably be testing these out in flight within a couple weeks.

8) I take it you are using these with your T42P? How is the volume level? Do they use batteries?

Yes its hooked up to the T. Volume is great when I have it half way up or half way down. Depends if you think the glass is half full or half empty :D

It takes one AAA, not sure how long it lasts, but I should know soon.

Those must sound excellent; for travel, I just have my earbuds...pretty much the standard $9.99 fair you can get from Sony or Philips, they still sound better than my old iPod earbuds though.

I might get to try them out one day too.... :? :)

She does the things you do.

I have one of those, pretty good for overall usage, music, movie, games etc.

Meanwhile I got shure E3c in-ear monitors because I needed portability. I think the noise "blockage" rather is pretty good, but it takes sometime to get used to.

it is a steal if you got it for 1/3 price. It is hard to get on e-bay for under $250.

:D
