Selling my IBM 600 for $85 shipped

#1 Post by pcnoob » Mon May 01, 2006 2:52 pm

Can someone buy this from me so I can get a new hard drive for my other laptop?

It has a PII 300mhz processor, 20gb hard drive(4200rpm), cd rom(24x), ac adapter but no battery, 160mb ram, and the screen has quite a number of dead pixels but overall it works fine.

I think I might be interested.

On the battery: is there no battery at all? Or is it just dead?

How many dead pixels? any pics?

Does it have onboard Ethernet by any chance?

Just remembered my 600E never had onboard ethernet, just onboard modem. The T22 was the first thinkpad I used that had onboard ethernet (but even then, I had to use a card).

Yeah, let me know about the battery (I'd rather not have a gaping hole, but I suppose I could go out and replace the battery if there's none there at all) and bad pixels. A WiFi card later, and I'd be set for a downloading box...

If you buy it from pcnoob and there is NO battery at all, I will send you a dead battery to fill the "gaping" hole for free.

I sold the battery on Craigslist a long time ago. The screen has many tiny white dots but looks okay. But if you're watching a video on it, then you'll see all of them. I don't have a digital camera so I can't get any pictures, sorry.
