Seagate 160Gb Momentus

#1 Post by BruceL » Tue May 02, 2006 12:33 am

I have a T43p (2687-D5U) and was hoping to upgrade to a Seagate Momentus 160Gb, 5400 rpm.

Used Apricorn EZ Upgrade to clone the original 80 Gb drive and other than manually redoing partions, the process was painless.

Installed the Seagate and got the now infamous 2010 error and an unable to read drive error message.

All BIOS and firmware is current.

I would appreciate any ideas or help on getting the Seagate to work.
