What's the max resolution from Mini-Dock?

hi fellow T4x series users,

i've got a Mini-Dock to go along with my T42 which comes with ATI Radeon 7500 with a XGA screen.

i'm thinking of getting the Dell 2405WFP LCD with the WUXGA resolution. can the video output from the Mini-Dock support up to WUXGA resolution??

anyone knows the max output resolution from the Mini-Dock??

I have no problem driving Dell 2405 at 1920 x 1200 thru DVI on mini dock from my T42. However I have Radeon 9000. Also I needed modified ATI drivers from driverheaven.net. That discussion is elsewhere on this site, I forget exactly where. Try searching.

As per the specs, determined by the video capability of your TP. The MiniDock doesn't have a video card of its own.

Search here for 2405FP or whatever the model number is, there was a loooooong thread on just this issue (external 16:9 monitors on docks). Recently. Really.
2668-75U T43, 2GB RAM, 2nd hand NMB kybd, Dock II, spare Mini-Dock, and spare Port Replicators. Wacom BT tablet. Ultrabay 2nd HDD.
2672-KBU X32, 1.5GB RAM, 7200 rpm TravelStar HDD.

Hmm....

from the settings for the 2nd monitor, i haf 1600x1200 and 2048x1536 resolutions......

could u pls guide mi to the thread??

i searched for 2405FP, 2405WFP and Dell 24 and i could'nt find it..
