Superdrive on T40 series??

hi guys,

i was searching for superdrive for my T42 and i found out that hte only 9.5mm superdrive available now is the Panasonic(M a t s u s h i t a) UJ-832 drive..

anyone tried to upgrade to that before??

i'm pretty tempted to try...
IBM T42 (2373-MA5)
Pentium M 755. i855PM, ATI Radeon 7500 32mb, 14.1" XGA, Combo, Kingston DDR333 2gb, Samsung HM120JC 120gb

anyone tried??

i realised that only UJ-832S is a super drive..

UJ-842 is a newer super drive...
