Resolution on R51e

#1 Post by fuligin » Tue May 09, 2006 8:24 am

Hi everyone,
I recently got a R51e, 15" unfortunatly the smallest resolution i can get it to go is 1024 x 768. I have been able to decress the screen size by decreasing my dpi, but this is not universal so i have some windows that aprear huge becasue of this,
Is there any way that i can unversally decrase my settings. even if its one notch down.
Thank you all in advance.
This site has been very helpful in geting me accustomed to my new PC :)

I guess you are using Windows...
Go to display settings > advanced > adapter > list all modes
You can choose your preferred resolution there.

IBM TP T41p (1.7G/1GB/100GB-7k100/DVD-CDRW/SXGA+/BT)
IBM TP T22 (900/512/40/DVD/CDRW/14")
IBM TP A31 (1.8GHz/512MB/40GB/DVD-CDRW/15" SXGA)

Yes i have tried that but the thing is that i only have 2 types of resolutions, and the other one is bigger then what i already have so it would my screen super huge. as i said i could lower the dpi but that doesnt go across the board for all my screens, i guess there isnt a better way of lowering the resolution.
