Wired Network issue (sometimes)

anyone having an issue with wired connection. I work ok at work, then go home work wireless and wired (wired @home is docked with advanced mini dock). come to work to advanced mini dock and wired and wired doesn't work.
Look at it in net conn and it won't enable just fails Communication failure?

If you in hardware disable and enable the device it comes back. anyone seen this?

You are not alone. I have also had this issue a couple of times over the past week when docking my t60.
Disabling and re-enabling the device does the trick.

Are you guys using Access Connections to manage your internet connections and devices? This is the type of thing it is made for. You set up a profile for each location.

Hi . I do use access connections but the issue is not that, it tries to enable the wired connection but fails. even manual enabling it fails, the only thing that worked is in device mgr to disable/enable the device. another mini dock did not have that problem and i could replicate the problem on that same mini dock with another system with another build so it sounds like hardware on the mini dock itself.
