#1 Post by newmanm » Thu May 11, 2006 1:11 pm

I've been using the trial version of BeInSync software for a couple of weeks. seems to work okay.

anyone have any thoughts/problems/issues about this service?

any other programs/services you'd like to recommend?

I been using syncToy, but my machines are next to each other.

It has some issues with 8.3 names, which are shortened using the ~. But it's free and easy to use.

syncback 3.2.10 Freeware. An absolutely brilliant program. I highly recommend it.

I recently started using Vice Versa Pro. It works quite well and has the ability to schedule syncs using Windows' Task Scheduler.

Robocopy from MSN windows 2000 / XP resource kit does the trick for me. When you hunt around on microsoft's website then you'll find it for download.
