T21 Battery

Wondering where you guys get batterys for your laptops at. purchased a t21 off of ebay only to find out that it cant hold a charge and shuts off when unplugged....ive found cheap ones on ebay, but im not sure what exactly im looking for thanks

Get a T30 4400 battery, Ebay is flooded with aftermarket versions but first make sure you have 4.5 amp ac adapter, youll need the extra amperage to fully charge the T30 battery.

yeah - ebay is your best bet.

There are services here that will replace all the cells in a dead battery.

It can be quite effective for very expensive batteries.

By pot luck I was able to score an ebay auction of 4 thinkpad batteries for the equivalent of $5 each. I think at least one is degraded but all the rest are good. I run off AC 99% of the time so it does not bother me.

According to JHEM, IBM/Lenovo is selling Certified Used Batteries for $32 with a 3-month warranty. Click Here. JHEM claims that the last time that he ordered Certified Batteries from IBM, they only had 4-5 cycles.
