hardware problem of X60s (pics)

#1 Post by coolfly » Fri May 12, 2006 10:18 pm

CPU-Z shows that my X60s use T2300, but it also said L2400 in the following. Is it right for X60s?
Intel utility shows the bus is overclock. Is it correct? Should I do something?

MOD EDIT: Added (pics) warning. Please remember to do this in the future. Thanks!

A T2300 or a L2400 run both at the same frequency but the L2400 is low power. I guess the utility is not sure whether it is a T or L type CPU.

As for the overclocked bus, I think that Stupid Intel utility thinks normal bus is 666 (actually 666.66). It detects 667 so it is overclocking. Go figure...

Anyway everything is right with that. I really wouldn't worry 8)
