Anyone got the finger printer reader to work with firefox ?
the finger print reader on my x60s is quite handy, but I couldn't get it to work with firefox so far to automatically enter pw, but it works perfectly for windows longon... I tried the CSS but it is quite clumsy.Any hint ?

i don't think it's that covience at all. You have to enter your screen name manually and click on the password field and then swipe finger. It's probably faster to type the password in manually. Maybe i'm doing something wrong, this is on firefox.
(I have a microsoft finger reader, it would remember the screen name and password on internet explorer, all i have to do it scan the finger and i'm in. No typing of any kind.)

same here, the ms finger reader way is what I want my thinkpad reader to behave like. I am using firefox too. Right now the whole process is just tedious.intelbrain wrote:i don't think it's that covience at all. Is there a fix for this?
I completely agree. the fingerprint reader has a cool factor, but usability is not at all intuitive. I can't make it work for anything except logging into windows... lame...
