T23 - Beep Error 1-3-3-1

#1 Post by HelixX23 » Mon May 15, 2006 2:52 am

Hi...

Got a problem with my T23.

When it starts i get an Beep Error and a blank screen.

It beeps one time then three times again three times and one time.

In the BeepErrorSection in the Manual it says: 1.Dimm, 2. Mainboard

Now i decided to buy a new Mainboard.
I got it into and again: Beep Error 1-3-3-1

I now have only the monitor attached to the mainboard.
Ther are no FSU´s attached.
No UltraBay2000, no Networkcard, no Modem, No RAM...
and again: Beep Error 1-3-3-1

What am i doing wrong?

What kind of error might this be?
any suggestions?

If you need more Information please ask me!

It will not start without RAM. Put in some RAM. RAM necessary for processor to work.

That is definately a memory beep code. I've seen it numerous times.

All you need to do, is to get some memory for this T23.

I have checked one with 128MB and one with 64MB both failed.

I´ll check more of these RAMs maybe a working out of a friends T21.

Most likely, the memory from a T21 won't work on a T23.

You need to use some PC133 memory.
