380xd hard drive not detected

#1 Post by stolle » Mon May 15, 2006 5:05 pm

im having a problem with my thinkpad 380xd, it does not recognize the hard drive. one of the other problems i found was that the cmos battery was dead (coming to that conclusion trough the help of this forum) after replacing the battery still get a 00301 error at startup (keyboard) i tested it in easy bios and it checked out ok. i have tryed 3 different hard drives and none are seen in bios setup or by fdisk, has anyone else had this problem? or what other things can i do to try and resolve it any help is apreciated....
