UDF file system, DLA, InCD or other.

#1 Post by Béèm » Tue May 16, 2006 11:05 am

I saw several posts about the direct writing to a CD-RW, but my situation isn't reflected.
I have a Thinkpad R40 and a desktop.
The R40 uses DLA, the desktop InCD.
Sometimes CD-RW's written behave like a CD-R in the R40, no more room, inspite the DLA is activated for the drive.
I have the impression this happens when I have updated or added a file on the desktop.
In my mind both DLA and InCD respects the UDF filesystem, so there should be no incompatibility problem.

Am I correct?

In case I am not correct I can see three scenarios.

Scenario 1 - use DLA on both machines.
Scenario 2 - use InCD on both machines
Scenario 3 - use another program.

Which one is recommended?
R40 type 2722BDG (1.4 Ghz/256MB/37GB)
