where can I get a T60 in San Francisco

Hi.

I am based in UK. I have a friend going to CA in a few weeks. I am looking to get a 2623DDU model (or better if the prices change by then).

Unfortunately I cant seem to find any outlet which sells IBM/Lenovos. From what I gather, the shipping times seem to be an issue.

My friend will be in USA for a week only, and specifically in CA.

Any help with URL's of retail (or otherwise) appreciated

I read somewhere that Office Depot sells them. If I were you, have your friend order it online, either through the Lenovo site or the several online retailers that carry them (search in the forum). Then, the laptop will be waiting for your friend just in time.

Well, local Office Depots would work for that. I do know that they always carry the T43s and Z60ts, but I am not so sure about the T60s.

The place I got my T43 from is sure to have them, but it is for an educational institution...

Interesting thing though, I ran a search in the local area for IBM/Lenovo resellers and it turned up several valid hits.

I know there is a Hitachi building in the South SF area, but they are for Advanced GST and HDDs. There are other resellers, but there are several different "Tiers" that describes what products they are apt to sell.
