Thanks for the info. R60's look nice. Another progressive upgrade from the original R30's. Glad to see Lenovo isn't pushing the R-series people to the 3000 or Z-series line.

*Very* nice indeed; what did you think about the Z61t?
I have been checking out a few Z60ts and I have been impressed by the construction and the form factor. What other benefits are imparted unto the Z6X Series by the Z61t that aren't immediately evident from the published technical specifications?
The webcam on it sounds great as well.

The Z61t looked to be just as good quality as the Z60t I reviewed a while back. No real external changes, but a real DVDRW is now optional. The big thing I'm excited about with the Z60t is the WXGA+ 1440x900 screen. I love the 14" widescreen form factor, but 1280x768 is too limiting for me. We'll see how that works out 
Have used just about every ThinkPad since the T42 days...
