LCD issue

#1 Post by dsigma6 » Wed May 17, 2006 9:49 pm

I just noticed my LCD is being silly. When I open it, it comes on- then it goes black, and then immediately comes back to normal. If you know what I'm talking about, what's the cause?

Took a low quality video of it if you care to take a look-

Thank you!

Same here on R51e. Also happens when unplugging the AC adaptor, but not when plugging it in.

I came up with a theory here...

dsigma, is this on your R40?

What GPU does it have?

I suspect that this is a PowerPlay related thing. The issue does NOT affect my X21, by the way.
