Thinkpad button on IBM T30

I just buy IBM T30, when I press the thinkpad button but nothing happen. Could anybody having experience on this help me?

Might this not belond in the T30-T2X Series Forum rather than the Thinkpad Utility Area? :)

It might be that the HPA isn't there; do you try to press it during boot up or just in Windows?

Thank you so much for your answering.
The problem is after loading OS (Win XP Pro SP2). I really don't know IBM design the button for what?

And I heard some my friend said that. If I press Thinkpad Button+ F11 it will show the original component of my T30. Is that true?
