T30 Screen replacement!

Hello All

Just one question, I have a Thinkpad T30(2366-85U). Im sure guys know that the max resolution for this model is 1024x768.

Here is my question, is it possible to get a replacement screen for the laptop from a earlier model? Like say from an ealier "A" series or from an "T" Series. My goal is to get it up to at least 1280x1024.

Is my only option is to find a replacement screen from another t30? I heard some people talking about this with T series.

I hope I'm making sense in all of this. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Actually, some T30's came with a 1400x1050, 2366-9*U for example. Not sure if you can just replace it outright or not. You might need another inverter or LCD cable, but again I am not sure.
