When i use the program "fancontrol", it automaticly disable it self at 70c and let the BIOS take over. fancontrol operate in 5 levels on the t60's:
level 0 = off
level 1,2,3 = 2900 rpm
level 4,5,6 = 3200 rpm
level 7 = max speed 3700 rpm
level 128 = disable fancontrol
now what have me wondering is that, when the BIOS is controling the fan speed instead of fancontrol, even at 85c, its still only running 3200 rpm, same as at 50c. question is, how hot is the GPU going to get before the BIOS put the fan in max speed?
personally ive disabled the disable feature... ive removed level 128 from the ini file and edited the levels so at 70c the fans are put in max speed (3700+ rpm) instead of what happens now... fancontrol is diabled, the bios take over and is stuck at only 3200 rpm even at 85c maybe even higher...
How is the fan speed controlled on the T60p by default?
